Archer To Go Public In Reverse Merger As United Airlines Places Order For Its Electric Air Taxis To Shuttle Passengers To Airport

Less than a year after coming out of stealth, the electric air taxi developer Archer has struck a $1.1 billion SPAC deal — and it’s also won an order for $1 billion worth of its yet-to-fly aircraft from United Airlines, in the first step by an airline into urban air mobility.
