Regions Bank Of Alabama Turns Its Back On CoreCivic, Announces Plan To End Relationship

Today, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey is expected to sign a major contract with private prison company CoreCivic, kicking off a $3B plan to construct three new prisons in the state. Regions Bank’s announcement puts a wrench in that plan.
